Nod Factor Productions ("we," "our," or "us") operates this website and the embedded Nod Factor Radio player powered by Radio.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site and listen to our radio stream, and how that information is used.
1. Information We Collect
Radio.co Streaming Service
The live radio stream on this site is delivered by Radio.co. When you listen to the stream, Radio.co may automatically collect technical data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and the date and time of your request. This information is collected by Radio.co directly and is governed by the Radio.co Privacy Policy.
Radio Stream IP Address
When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP it is immediately anonymised, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to other companies.
iOS Apps
The Nod Factor Radio iOS App does not collect any user data when installed or launched on your device.
Android Apps
The Nod Factor Radio Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during Phone App use, the App will monitor the 'state' of the phone App (Idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the App be able to listen in or derive phone numbers or data.
The Android App also requires access to local storage. This is to store its configuration for faster launch times.
Usage Data
We may receive basic, anonymized analytics about how visitors use this site (such as page views and general geographic region) through our hosting provider, Netlify. Netlify's data practices are described in the Netlify Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and Local Storage
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser's local storage is used only to remember your cookie notice choice, so the notice is not shown again on every visit. The Nod Factor Radio Android app also uses local storage to save its configuration for faster launch times. This data stays on your device, is not shared with third parties, and is used solely to support these features.
3. Third-Party Services
This site embeds a live audio stream from Radio.co. When you load or interact with that player, you are also connecting directly to Radio.co's servers. We encourage you to review Radio.co's privacy policy at https://radio.co/privacy to understand how they handle your data.
This site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify processes server request logs as part of normal hosting operations. See https://www.netlify.com/privacy/ for details.
4. How We Use Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Any technical data collected by our hosting provider or Radio.co is used solely to operate and improve service delivery.
5. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Text Messaging (SMS)
Nod Factor Productions operates a text-message program for Nod Factor Radio. This section explains how we collect and use mobile phone numbers for that program.
How We Collect Your Number
We collect mobile phone numbers only when you choose to opt in through our web forms, including the Nod Factor Radio "Submit up to 3 Songs" form and our VIP text sign-up. Consent is given through a separate text-message checkbox that is unchecked by default. You must check it yourself to receive texts. Consent to receive text messages is not required to submit a form, make a purchase, or receive any giveaway.
How We Use Text Messages
If you opt in, we use your number to send Nod Factor Radio station updates, show and event news, promotions, and messages related to what you signed up for, such as updates on a song submission. Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
No Sharing of Mobile Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to provide this program. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Opting Out and Getting Help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us through the Booking page on this site. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
